Venice Beach Dining

There are a number of dining opportunities present in Venice Beach, bringing food from all over the globe to satisfy whatever appetite a traveler has. The “boardwalk” is popular with plenty of grills and delis, providing hamburgers, hot dogs, and sandwiches to enjoy while tanning on the shoreline. Equally as popular are the cafés and BBQ restaurants located right on the Ocean Front Walk by on Lincoln Boulevard. Meanwhile, the downtown area has many quality restaurants to have a good sit-down dinner.

Breakfast and brunch are quite popular in Venice Beach, as there are a surprising number of bakeries and cafés that serve food early in the morning. One could simply grab a quick bagel, donut, and/or coffee from a café on Ocean Boulevard, or visit a restaurant to get a platter of pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, and more. As they say, a good breakfast is the key to having a good day, and Venice Beach is a great place to find something to eat in the morning. Be sure that you take time out of your morning, or simply wake up a bit earlier, so you can start you day fresh with a good cup of mojo.

For lunch, grills and burger places are popular, as a barbecue fits in well with the beach experience. Many beachgoers will simply get a lunch to-go at a stand on the “boardwalk”, and carry the food back to where they were tanning and swimming. The downtown area also has many great places to eat, as well, for those who want a break in shopping. The options range from casual fast food to more formal restaurants, all depending on the mood that you are in. In addition, there is plenty of ice cream for those days when it can get hot and humid.

For dinner, however, most guests would prefer to eat in a nice restaurant in one of the commercial downtown areas of Venice Beach. There is nearly every type of food imaginable there: Italian, Mexican, Greek, Asian, French, and even vegan-specific restaurants for those who do not wish to eat meat but still want to enjoy the dining opportunities of Venice Beach. Restaurants, which serve cutlery and wine, are always a popular destination for tourists.

There are even restaurants that serve great bubble tea, if you are in to those kinds of things. Numerous sushi bars are also available around town, as well as bakeries that are great for deserts when walking around after a meal. Many of these restaurants also offer tables to eat outside, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of downtown Venice Beach. It’s an excellent place to relax and have a meal, and is rather popular for people in Venice Beach, as the warm humid climate of Southern California makes it comfortable to eat outside. It is certainly a unique experience to eat in Venice Beach, as there are plenty of restaurant opportunities to explore and multicultural foods to taste. So if you are looking for that kind of dining experience, be sure to put Venice Beach on your travel plans.
